My favorite movies that brought me much joy would be Grease and Footloose. I love them. I could watch them over and over. Ever since I was younger I have been a fan. I am so excited that Grease is finally coming to DVD this month of September, it's about time. So is Footloose. Although it has nothing special on it which is very dissapointing. My daughter has even watched Grease by now and really likes it also so I'm glad I was able to show her something I enjoyed so much. My other movie I like is Saturday Night Fever, don't ask me why, I just love the dancing and the music. Two movies that brought me much joy in my junior high years would be Pretty In Pink and Sixteen Candles. I think they are some of the best 80's movies ever. Sixteen Candles is really funny. I just love all those actor's in those particular movies. My favorite childhood movie ever would have to be Pete's Dragon. I remember enjoying it so much when I was little.

My favorite show when I was little was The Bionic Woman. I just loved Lindsay Wagner. I remember watching all the shows and being so happy. Not only was she cool to me cause of her bionics, she was so pretty. I also liked watching The Six Dollar Man, but the Bionic Woman was the best! That show is a fond, precious and wonderful memory to me. I miss it so much!

Now as I'm all grown up, my favorite show is Sex and the city. I love Charlotte, she is so pretty. She's so innocent and that makes her fun. Carrie is also my favorite, not only is she funny, but she is always determined to not give up on true love..which gives us all hope now don't it? And most of all Mr Big. I think he is so sexy and suave, I miss him a lot this season though. I hope when the show ends, Carrie and Big finally hook up for good! And I want to know his name!!!!!

Besides Strawberry Shortcake, I really liked The Carebears and The Smurfs.  The cartoon I really enjoyed watching when I grew up was Scooby Doo, my favorite characters being Scooby and Daphne. My daughter is now watching Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry just like I did which she enjoys so much. So thank you Cartoon Network. I also loved My Little Pony. I still have a lot of my ponies from when I was little, and I still find a lot more every now and then. They stopped making the original ones in 1988. I think they were so cute. They just don't make toys like they use to. My favorite is the one in the picture above.

My favorite person on TV would be Jillian Barberie, besides being very beautiful, she seems to have a wonderful personality. She seems smart and funny. She has a wonderful website that most girls would enjoy looking at. You can find it on MY LINKS page. There is some awesome shopping!

My favorite actress would have to be Reese Witherspoon. I love all the movies she has ever done. I think she is so talented. She seems very down to earth and funny. I don't think that girl would ever let success get to her head. I enjoy her so much. My favorite movies with her would have to be Freeway, Election and Legally Blonde. My favorite TV personality from back in the day would be Lucille Ball. I Love Lucy is one of my favorite shows. It makes me laugh so much. My daughter has also picked up this love of mine for Lucy, she watches it all of the time and knows the episodes she has watched by heart. I'm so happy the DVD'S are coming out for the show. I also love the old beach movies. I love the actress Annette Funicello, I think she was so beautiful. I'm so sad to see what a disease has done to her in her later life. My favorite beach movies are Beach Party, Beach Blanket Bingo and Bikini Beach.

My favorite actors are Johnny Depp, Matt Dillon and Nicholas Cage. Johnny Depp is a very talented actor. He is also very very sexy. I don't think there is a thing wrong with that guy! Matt Dillon I have loved ever since the early 80's. He is a great actor and never seems to age. He is very sexy also. I loved him in The Outsiders. I still cry at the ending of that movie. I think everybody at one time or another should see the movie and read the book! And then there is Nicholas Cage. I enjoy him so much. I think he can play funny and serious roles so well. My favorites with him has got to be Honeymoon In Vegas and Guarding Tess.

SLEEP WITH THE ANGELS

Barbara Olson 1956-2001

Barbara
untitled.jpg

Now this lady was a true hero to me. She was somebody I looked up to so much. She was extremely smart, sweet, kind and just a beautiful person. Her name was Barbara Olson. Although she was never in any movie, she was well known across the country for her smart wits and fiesty side that truly gave her a splendid personality. She had served as an attorney for the Department Of Justice, she was a legal analyst and commentator who often appeared on TV and radio. She was just beautiful on the inside and out. Now Barbara died on September 11, 2001 in Flight 77 that crashed into The Pentagon in Washington. She was a loving wife and a loving person. I am angry at the people who took her life away when she had so much promise like so many others that day. She had written a book that was out soon after her death which I think would have really made her have a even higher place in the world. I miss her a lot. I miss seeing her beautiful smile and hearing her debates. I send my deepest condolences to her family. I will always remember Barbara Olson.
