My favorite movies that brought me much joy would be Grease and Footloose. I love them. I could watch them over and over. Ever since I was younger I have been a fan. I am so excited that Grease is finally coming to DVD this month of September, it's about time. So is Footloose. Although it has nothing special on it which is very dissapointing. My daughter has even watched Grease by now and really likes it also so I'm glad I was able to show her something I enjoyed so much. My other movie I like is Saturday Night Fever, don't ask me why, I just love the dancing and the music. Two movies that brought me much joy in my junior high years would be Pretty In Pink and Sixteen Candles. I think they are some of the best 80's movies ever. Sixteen Candles is really funny. I just love all those actor's in those particular movies. My favorite childhood movie ever would have to be Pete's Dragon. I remember enjoying it so much when I was little.
My favorite show when I was little was The Bionic Woman. I just loved Lindsay Wagner. I remember watching all the shows and being so happy. Not only was she cool to me cause of her bionics, she was so pretty. I also liked watching The Six Dollar Man, but the Bionic Woman was the best! That show is a fond, precious and wonderful memory to me. I miss it so much!
Now as I'm all grown up, my favorite show is Sex and the city. I love Charlotte, she is so pretty. She's so innocent and that makes her fun. Carrie is also my favorite, not only is she funny, but she is always determined to not give up on true love..which gives us all hope now don't it? And most of all Mr Big. I think he is so sexy and suave, I miss him a lot this season though. I hope when the show ends, Carrie and Big finally hook up for good! And I want to know his name!!!!!
Besides Strawberry Shortcake, I really liked The Carebears and The Smurfs. The cartoon I really enjoyed watching when I grew up was Scooby Doo, my favorite characters being Scooby and Daphne. My daughter is now watching Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry just like I did which she enjoys so much. So thank you Cartoon Network. I also loved My Little Pony. I still have a lot of my ponies from when I was little, and I still find a lot more every now and then. They stopped making the original ones in 1988. I think they were so cute. They just don't make toys like they use to. My favorite is the one in the picture above.
