On the left is a picture of Annette. She was my Aunt. Although I never got to know her, I feel her presence with me in many ways. She was only 16 when she died, but I think she would have been a wonderful person. I wrote a poem for her a while back and would like to put it on this page.
 To My Beautiful Aunt In Heaven
Annette so beautiful and charming
Your death was so alarming
To your family
And even though I was not born
It hurts to know you are the Aunt
I've never known
I have seen your pictures
Heard the stories
Hurts so much to know you had to die that day
In such a tragic way
Wish I could turn back time with these hands of mine
Do it over one more time
For you
Make that car turn the other way
Don't know what else to say
Accept I'm sorry
Sorry you were only 16
A life ahead of you still
You had such a strong heart
